  • Dublin Chamber Leadership Dublin Executive Program

Now Accepting Applications for the Class of 2021, which starts October 2020. Click here!

Leadership Dublin’s Executive Program is a leadership training program designed to educate and inspire leaders for community service. It is a unique experience of relationship building, learning, problem-solving, civic engagement and personal growth.

The eight-month Executive Program is designed to give members the tools needed to become active and influential leaders in the Dublin community. All classes are held at convenient times for working professionals. (Usually, you will attend around two sessions a month.)

“The Leadership Dublin Executive Program offered me an excellent opportunity to learn about important civic and government organizations, to interact and develop connections with a numerous community and business leaders, and to develop a sense of how to give back through service projects that really impact the community.”  Sue Parnell, Teacher, Dublin City Schools and Leadership Dublin Graduate

The Leadership Dublin Executive program is designed to develop future community leaders who are both knowledgeable about the city and concerned with its well-being. Individuals will participate in a learning program unique to Dublin providing information about:

    • Local government

    • The education sector

    • Business in the area

    • Social issues facing our community

    • Leadership skills and group dynamics

“The Leadership Dublin Executive Program allowed me to gain tremendous insight into our City leaders and how dedicated they are to making Dublin a great place to live. I had the opportunity to meet and interact with leaders within Dublin City Council, Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Dublin City Schools Board of Education and Washington Township. The program is an invaluable way to not only learn about Dublin but to engage in the community and participate in meaningful programs that will help shape its future.” Gene Pavell, IGS Energy employee and Leadership Dublin Graduate

    Group Community Projects

As part of the program curriculum, participants will break into smaller groups and work on a community project. The group community project is an opportunity to gain insight and understanding of issues facing volunteer leadership and to leverage your new leadership capabilities to deliver a successful project that increases the well-being of our community.

    Community Service Day

One of this group's flagship projects was Community Service Day, which brings volunteers of all ages together to help senior citizens, non-profit organizations and residents in need with spring clean up and outdoor projects. This event is typically held the first Saturday in May.

This program runs from October through May. The enrollment fee is $1195 per student for members and $1395 per student for non-members.
