WHAT IS ISSUE 2?
Issue 2 in Ohio legalized recreational marijuana for adults 21 and older. It allows possession of up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana and 15 grams of concentrates. The Division of Cannabis Control regulates licensing, with distribution licenses expected by Fall 2024. A 10% sales tax funds a social equity program for those affected by past marijuana-related law enforcement.
