Voter Registration Deadline Nears for November 3 General Election

Franklin County residents not registered to vote have until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5 to be eligible to vote in the November 3 General Election.

That same deadline applies to registered voters who need to update their voter registration because of a change of address or name. Making these updates before the registration deadline can help voters avoid having to cast a provisional ballot.

“Check your registration now, especially if you have moved or changed your name,” said Franklin Board of Elections Director Antone White. “If your information needs to be updated, taking care of it before the registration deadline will ensure that you can cast a regular ballot on Election Day.”

Voters can register or update their registration online at voteohio.gov.

The Franklin County Board of Elections, located at 1700 Morse Road, will remain open until 9:00 p.m. on October 5 for voters to register or deliver completed voter registration forms.

Voters can also check their registration status, view their sample ballot and find other election information at www.vote.franklincountyohio.gov.

Early in-person voting for the November 3, 2026 General Election begins Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at the Franklin County Board of Elections located at 1700 Morse Road.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
