National Community Survey: Dublin Among Nation’s Highest Rated Cities for Quality of Life
May 20, 2025
(Dublin, Ohio) — Results from Dublin’s 2025 National Community Survey reveal that 99% of residents rate Dublin as an excellent or good place to live. The City’s overall quality of life, safety and local government performance all received top marks, with Dublin ranking higher or much higher than national benchmarks across multiple categories.
“Resident feedback is essential as we shape strategies and make decisions that reflect our community’s needs and values,” said Dublin City Manager Megan O’Callaghan. “As we advance City Council’s vision to be the most sustainable, connected and resilient global city of choice, this survey helps ensure we’re on the right track.”
The survey was conducted by the National Research Center at Polco, using standardized methodology to ensure high-quality, comparable results across communities nationwide. Of the 3,000 randomly selected Dublin households, 565 residents completed the survey — resulting in a representative sample and an overall response rate of 19%. Participants were selected across all four wards, providing a reliable cross-section of resident feedback.
Dublin ranked higher or much higher than national benchmarks in the majority of categories measured, including safety, overall quality of life, public trust in government, economic health and public services. These strong ratings reflect residents’ high level of satisfaction with both their experiences in the community and the services provided by the City.
