Haruko Okada

Dr. Haruko Okada is a board-certified plastic surgeon and hand surgeon. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with additional Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Okada completed a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve under world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Bahman Guyuron.

After training, she became a plastic surgeon at Ohio Health honing her skills on complex reconstructive cases including patients with facial fractures, soft tissue deficits of the face, hand and upper extremity. During her tenure she also developed a successful elective practice of common hand surgery ailments and a transgender surgery patients requesting chest surgery.

Dr. Okada created Stratus Plastic Surgery for patients seeking safe, natural and aesthetic results. She credits her interest in people’s diversity to an international upbringing in the United States, Japan, and United Kingdom.
