    About the Position
    We are seeking a Licensed Counselor or Social Worker (Seeking LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW or LISW-S) to provide direct care to grieving children, teens, and adults. This full-time role reports to the Clinical Supervisor.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    Provide grief and trauma-informed counseling sessions.
    Conduct diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and document care in line with best practices.
    Facilitate therapeutic crisis interventions as needed.
    Offer referrals and coordinate with community resources for specialized client needs.
    Schedule quarterly Support Groups and communicate available groups.
    Manage Group Facilitators and evaluate their performance.
    Assist in Support Group Facilitation Training in conjunction with the Education Director.
    Develop a School Support Group Outreach Program.
     
    Other Duties
    Support signature events (e.g., Memorial ceremonies, bereavement summer camps, and educational workshops).
    Facilitate daytime support groups as needed.
    Contribute to organization-wide initiatives such as “All Hands-on Deck” programs, like Camp Memory, a youth bereavement camp and our Signature Event, Evening of Hope.
     
    Qualifications
    Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or social work or independently licensed in Ohio as an LPCC or LISW.
    Bereavement experience preferred but not required.
    Insurance credentialing (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial) strongly preferred.
    Heartfelt compassion, collaborative spirit, and a commitment to serving others.
    Recent graduates are also welcome and encouraged to apply.
    Licensed as LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, LISW-S preferred, or LPC.
