Women in Business Luncheon Featuring Dr. Pamela Ellis

Pamela Ellis, MBA, Ph.D.—The Education Doctor®—partners with moms to help raise the next generation of leaders with grace and ease. She is the host of the Keep C.A.L.M. for Moms show, which is live streamed through LinkedIn. The Boss Mom series of the show is to encourage mom-leaders to be more without having to do more or feeling guilty. Her experience with the education system includes advising school districts, community organizations, and institutes of higher education.
This Women in Business Luncheon will feature Dr. Pamela Ellis of Compass College Advisory Center. Dr. Ellis will discuss "Mastering the Shame Game," and will share five key lessons from marathon training to find harmony when life lets you down.
Dr. Ellis received her BA from Stanford University, MBA from Dartmouth College, and Ph.D. from the Stanford University School of Education. Her research areas include high school to college transition, parent engagement, African-American males in education, and college completion. Her recent book, What to Know Before They Go: College Edition is an effective tool to help parents/caregivers support teens toward higher education success.
The cost to attend this event is only $30 per person for Chamber members and $50 per person for non-members, which includes lunch. Please include diet concerns when reserving your spot.

The Chamber has designed its events to allow for greater physical distancing than traditional events. Event organizers follow COVID-19 recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Franklin County Public Health.
The Dublin area is experiencing higher rates of COVID-19. That means masks are recommended indoors and in crowded areas regardless of vaccination status. Franklin County Public Health has also issued a mask advisory until further notice recommending everyone wear a mask indoors and in crowded areas regardless of vaccine status to stop the spread of COVID-19 and the Delta/ Omicron variant.
Safety Recommendations
Patrons are asked to please consider the following recommendations to keep this a safe and healthy event:- Vaccinated and not vaccinated patrons are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering while indoors and in crowded spaces (both indoors and outdoors).
- Masks and hand sanitizer will be at event venues based on supply.
- Practice physical distancing from people who do not live in your household.
- If you are sick, please stay home. Monitor your health before you attend the event.
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based sanitizer.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes.
