This session features Jim Scott, Senior Vice President (SVP) of National Markets at Cardinal Health, who will discuss:

• How “Midwestern Nice” is actually a sales strategy
• How to go beyond features and benefits selling into a strategic sales approach
• The importance of fostering a long-term relationship over selling products and services

About the Speaker: Jim Scott, SVP of National Markets at Cardinal Health
In his role, Scott oversees the National and Regional Account sales and account management teams as well as the State Government business segment.  In addition, he is responsible for guiding retail consumer product development and market positioning to best serve Cardinal’s retail chain customers.

Scott began his career with Cardinal Health in 1992, holding various positions in Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sales throughout the company’s pharmaceutical distribution business.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at The Ohio State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton.  A passionate industry advocate, he is currently serving on the NACDS Foundation Board.
