2021 Recognition Luncheon
Ring in the holiday season at the Dublin Chamber's Recognition Luncheon.
This luncheon, hosted at the scenic Muirfield Village Golf Club Pavilion, 5750 Memorial Drive in Dublin, is always a memorable event and offers a great way to show appreciation for your employees, clients and friends as the year comes to an end.Join us for this festive holiday celebration that will feature delicious food and holiday music in a beautifully decorated setting. In addition, attendees will be eligible to win door prizes and browse the Muirfield Village Golf Club Pro Shop to find that perfect holiday gift.
Come enjoy a delightful afternoon and let us take care of all the details. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. with a cash bar, followed by lunch and the official program. Valet parking is included.

Volunteer of the Year AwardMEET THE HONOREES:
Spotlight Dublin Award Honoree: Brent Crawford, Crawford Hoying
Brent Crawford has guided the vision of Crawford Hoying since 1994, in which he has grown a single investment property into one of the largest real estate firms in Columbus, Ohio. He personally oversees many aspects of the business, including raising private equity for specific investment into income producing properties, securing debt financing, managing relationships with equity investors, monitoring new acquisitions, ground-up development, and debt placement for all projects, and guiding all new developments for the company.
Brent has spoken at many events as a guest speaker covering topics such as current real estate trends, multi-family markets and development growth in central Ohio. In addition, he taught property management and real estate trends at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and regularly returns as a guest speaker. He serves on the boards of Sophisticated Systems, Children’s Hospital Foundation and The Ohio State Sports Medicine Center and is the current President of the Center for Real Estate at The Ohio State University. He also is a current member of the Columbus Partnership. He is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University holding a bachelor's degree in communications, and resides in Dublin, Ohio with his wife, Liz, and their two children.
President's Award Honoree: Denise Youngsteadt-Parrish, Dublin Food Pantry
Ms. Denise Youngsteadt-Parrish, B.S., M.S. is the Executive Director of the Dublin Food Pantry. She brings to the pantry over twenty years’ experience working on issues of poverty, hunger, and social justice. She is a passionate advocate, committed to the most vulnerable members of our community.
Ms. Youngsteadt-Parrish has a rich history of providing food to families and individuals; counseling survivors of domestic violence, advocating on behalf of animals and providing comfort to families during times of great loss. She has a B.S. in Anthropology from the Ohio State University and was a recipient of the highly competitive Critical Difference for Women Scholarship. She received her Master of Science in Community Leadership and Professional Advancement from Duquesne University. She has completed her didactic classes for her Educational Doctorate. She is also a first degree black belt in Wae Kune Do Karate.
Ms. Youngsteadt-Parrish received the NAACP Freedom Fund Award for her civil rights work in Steubenville, Ohio. She has been published along with others in Early Childhood Research and Practice special issue on “Children and Diversity. Worked in tandem with the Ohio State University, The Women’s Center and Neighborhood Services providing training for Columbus Public School Teachers on PTSD in elementary school aged children.
Ms. Youngsteadt-Parrish worked along with many others on state and national issues affecting food insecure families, civil rights, and domestic violence. She believes passionately in educating the public about the short- and long-term pressures of hunger and poverty, believing once you know you will be committed to ending it.
Ms. Youngsteadt-Parrish has two adult children, four grandchildren and one great nephew. She is excited and optimistic about the opportunity to serve our neighbors in need.
Volunteer of the Year Honoree: Michael Lamping, First Federal Lakewood
Mike is the Columbus Market President at First Federal Lakewood (“FFL”), the largest independent depositor-owned community bank headquartered in Ohio. In this role, Mike manages a team of business bankers who focus on building commercial lending relationships, deposit generation, optimizing our facilities and market presence. Mr. Lamping joined FFL in the summer of 2018 and has been instrumental in building our Central Ohio business banking group and consolidating the three residential lending offices into the Bank’s new full-service office in Dublin. He brings with him extensive experience in financial services and community banking.
Before joining FFL, Mike was Central Ohio President for Indiana based Horizon Bank and spent more than 20 years as a Director and CEO of four community banks. He started his professional career in public accounting, where he spent 15 years as a CPA and Partner with Crowe. Mike specialized in financial institutions and provided a wide spectrum of audit, tax, and consulting services to commercial bank clients.
He received a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. Mike has extensive experience with all aspects of commercial banking.
Mike and his wife Carol have lived in Dublin since 1988. They have five children and two grandchildren. They enjoy boating, fishing, and water sports as well as golf, tennis, and pickleball. They are avid Columbus Blue Jacket fans. Mike has been involved with the Dublin Chamber for many years and is a 2019 graduate of the Dublin Leadership Program.

The Chamber has designed its events to allow for greater physical distancing than traditional events. Event organizers follow COVID-19 recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Franklin County Public Health.
The Dublin area is experiencing higher rates of COVID-19. That means masks are recommended indoors and in crowded areas regardless of vaccination status. Franklin County Public Health has also issued a mask advisory until further notice recommending everyone wear a mask indoors and in crowded areas regardless of vaccine status to stop the spread of COVID-19 and the Delta variant.
Safety Recommendations
Patrons are asked to please consider the following recommendations to keep this a safe and healthy event:- Vaccinated and not vaccinated patrons are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering while indoors and in crowded spaces (both indoors and outdoors).
- Masks and hand sanitizer will be at event venues based on supply.
- Practice physical distancing from people who do not live in your household.
- If you are sick, please stay home. Monitor your health before you attend the event.
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based sanitizer.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes.
