  • 38 Special and KANSAS to Headline the City of Dublin Independence Day Celebration

(Dublin, Ohio) — The City of Dublin is excited to announce a legendary dual-headliner lineup for this year’s Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 4, at Dublin Coffman Stadium. This annual event brings the community together for a day full of parades, music, food, family fun and a spectacular fireworks display.

Taking the stage as co-headliners this year are 38 Special and KANSAS, two multi-platinum album bands known for their long history in the classic rock genre.

For five decades, 38 Special has delivered their signature blast of southern rock to audiences across the country. With more than 20 million albums sold and a roster of timeless hits like “Hold On Loosely,” “Caught Up In You,” and “Rockin’ Into the Night,” 38 Special's music remains a staple of classic rock. The group is excited to celebrate its 50-Year Legacy Tour, sharing that the magic is still alive.

KANSAS has firmly established itself as one of America’s iconic classic rock bands. Debuting in 1974, KANSAS has skyrocketed to fame with a catalog of 16 studio albums, five live albums and over 30 million albums sold worldwide. Their Billboard hits include “Dust in the Wind,” “All I Wanted,” and “Carry On Wayward Son”. KANSAS shows no signs of slowing down, proving their band is stronger than ever.

Beyond the music, the Independence Day Celebration is a day-long event that starts with a fishing derby, then a parade, ending with a concert and fireworks show.
