Shine a Light on Your Business

With Your Own Ribbon-Cutting or Grand-Opening Event

Ribbon-cutting, groundbreaking and grand re-opening events are a great way to open a new business or a new location. These types of events offer you the opportunity to publicly thank your customers, financial backers, friends and family, and talk about your products and services.

If you are a Dublin Chamber member, we can help with your event! The Dublin Chamber will:

• Provide the “giant scissors” and ribbon at the event ... a great photo opportunity!

• Send out an email to Ambassadors and Chamber Board Members inviting them to attend.

• Help promote your event on this website. Just log in to the Chamber’s member portal using your username and password to post your event on the Chamber’s community calendar. Don’t know your username or password? Contact us at 614-889-2001.

• Announce your event on our social media sites. Just email your event details at least two weeks prior to the event.

• The Chamber will send a representative to attend your event. Please coordinate your date with the Chamber, to avoid date and time conflicts.

• Publish photos on social media and in the next edition of Dublin Chamber News. (Subject to printing space and deadline.) Send your photos and event details to the Chamber following your event.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Application

To apply for a ribbon cutting ceremony, please email the following information to info@dublinchamber.org:

Required Information:

• Business Name & Address

• Primary Contact Person (Name, Phone, Email)

• Event Date & Time Preferences

• Reason for the Ribbon Cutting
  (Grand Opening, New Location, Expansion, Anniversary, etc.)

• Brief Business Description (for promotional use)

• Will food and/or beverages be provided?

• Will there be guided tours, product demos, giveaways, etc.?

• Social Media Handles & Website Link

• Attach Your Logo (High-resolution .jpg or .png preferred)

• Flyer or Promotional Materials (if available)

Once your application is received, a Chamber representative will be in touch to confirm the details and help you coordinate your event.
