Area Employees Recognized on Administrative Professionals Day

This year’s Staff Appreciation Luncheon in honor of Administrative Professionals Day on April 24 was a great way to say thanks to employees for their hard work and dedication all year long. In addition to a gourmet lunch from Wedgewood Golf & Country Club and complimentary gift cards, guests were treated to relaxing chair massages by Massage Envy and an interactive jewelry-making demonstration from 1 Stop Bead Shop.

Community Champions Recognized on April 20

On April 20, the Dublin Chamber Civic Foundation recognized more than 200 outstanding Dublin City Schools students and staff for exemplifying the best of volunteerism, character and leadership, and for demonstrating a caring and responsibility for others.

The 2013 Community Champion Awards program awarded $500 scholarships to nine seniors for their good deeds and good work in the community. In addition, one senior was awarded a $2,000 scholarship from the Ndukwe Family Foundation and one student from each grade 4 to 11 was presented a $50 Visa gift card. One Dublin City Schools staff member received a total of $500 to be donated to a favorite school project. In addition, all Community Champions received limited-edition medals and a bag filled with special gifts donated by area businesses. Thank you to our sponsors that made this special event possible.

Celebrating the Luck of the Irish – Dublin Style!

The March 19 Business After Hours was a sight to behold with Chamber members donning their finest greenery for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Thank you to host BMI Federal Credit Union for providing nearly 150 area business representatives an evening to socialize while enjoying delicious Irish-themed food and beverages.

March HR Executive Council Discusses "Working with the Next Generation"

Human Resource (HR) Executives came together on March 13 to discuss working with the next generation, and to network with other HR professionals in the community. This group meets every other month over lunch at different businesses in the Dublin area. Thank You Made from Scratch

Made from Scratch, 7500 Industrial Pkwy. in Plain City, rolled out the red carpet on Feb. 19 for the February Business After Hours and Dublin Chamber Industrial Parkway Business Council Meeting. Nearly 140 area business leaders came out to make new connections and mingle with old friends while enjoying delicious appetizers and beverages. Staybridge Suites - Dublin Chamber Business After Hours on January 15

Dublin Chamber members welcomed in 2013 at the January 15 Business After Hours event at the newly-renovated Staybridge Suites, 6095 Emerald Pkwy. in Dublin. Thank you to our hosts for an evening of festive food and drink and great door prizes. Staybridge Suites provided a wonderful way to kick off the new year by greeting old friends and meeting new business acquaintances.

Business professionals rang in the holiday season in style at the Recognition Luncheon on Dec. 14 at the Muirfield Village Golf Club Pavilion, 5750 Memorial Dr. in Dublin. October 2012 Business After Hours
