![]() City of DublinA message from Mayor Tim Lecklider The City of Dublin recognizes that in order to have a strong economic environment, you need a strong community that supports and encourages growth and innovation. Dublin is extremely fortunate to have leaders, business owners, educators and residents who all share a vision for economic success and embrace innovative solutions for enhancing our residential and business community. Our legacy of success and dedication to delivering exceptional public services has been recognized both locally and nationally. And during a time when many municipalities have been forced to reduce services, the City of Dublin is financially healthy and very fortunate thanks to conservative, long-term fiscal planning. One priority initiative is the Bridge Street Corridor, which is in its beginning phases of implementation. The Bridge Street Corridor project reflects housing and lifestyle shifts from changing work force demographics and is congruent with City Council's goal to redevelop the community’s central core, create a vibrant and walkable environment with a dynamic mix of land uses and housing types and enhance the City's long-term sustainability. Another priority is to develop a 21st century learning environment, combining library and educational facilities, which will provide opportunities for lifelong learning, educational synergies and support the City’s economic development, while advancing the community’s quality of life. We would like to thank Dublin residents and businesses and all those that contribute to our community's long-term success. We look forward to continuing to serve this world-class community in the best interest of the people today – and tomorrow.
