Community Service Day 2020

Community Service Day brings together volunteers of all ages to help area senior citizens with fall clean up and outdoor projects. The success of this event can be measured not only by the lives enhanced, but also in the sense of community pride it fosters.

Please help us with this event by volunteering to help individually or with a small group. All ages are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult! And, everyone must complete the online waiver form to participate. (Parents and/or legal guardians must register & sign a waiver form for all children under the age of 18.)

Due to COVID-19, groups will be small and pre-assigned. The sites participating in Community Service Day have been instructed to not provide snacks or refreshments. We ask that all who volunteer follow the CDC Guidelines for social distancing and mask wearing.

Volunteer Check In

Volunteers should meet at BMI Federal Credit Union, 6165 Emerald Parkway in Dublin, and register from 8:30 to 9 a.m. (Please park in the event parking lot on the north side of the building.)

At this time, volunteers will meet their team leader and learn about their specific project assignments and receive driving directions.

What should I wear and/or bring on Saturday, Oct. 3?
Dress for the weather and for yard work. All projects are done outdoors! We suggest that you bring the following and label all personal items with your name and phone number:

Work Gloves / Garden Gloves & work boots/shoes
Landscaping Tools / Gardening Tools
Bottled Water
Sunscreen
