With nearly 1,200 members, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of the business and professional community. As the only Dublin organization that solely represents business interests, the Chamber works to improve the economic climate and foster cooperation between business, schools and government for the good of the community.
It Pays to be a Chamber Member
Being a Dublin Chamber member means investing in the community. Through Chamber membership, businesses can build networks of professional contacts by participating in business development programs such as Member-to-Member discounts, Business After Hours and Small Office Home Office. In addition, the Chamber strives to provide quality benefits and services by offering significant savings to member businesses including group health insurances and workers’ compensation plans.
More than 5,000 business representatives and community residents receive the Chamber’s annual Membership Directory & Buyer’s Guide. Each member receives two free listings in the directory and is featured on www.dublinchamber.org. Both the directory and Web site are designed to increase awareness and generate potential new customers for Chamber member businesses through our referral service. We only refer Chamber members.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce provides its members with the highest quality benefits and services. Members also receive excusive invitations to business, social and networking events. The following is a list of member services exclusively offered to Dublin Chamber members.

Dublin Chamber members may save up to 80% through our OfficeMax Discount Program
Members can use this discount program online, at any of the 12 Central Ohio OfficeMax locations, as well as at nearly 1,000 OfficeMax stores nationwide.
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce and OfficeMax are partnering to save you, your business AND your employees money on office supplies, furniture, and print and document purchases.

Chamber members receive a list of 250 of the most frequently ordered items. These items are priced with discounts up to 80% off manufacturer’s list price.

Chamber members receive an additional 10% off of the already discounted Office Products catalog of over 12,000 items; with a few exceptions. These exceptions include, but are not limited to, selected papers, toners, and business machines.

Chamber members get free next day delivery with orders over $50. A small order fee of $3.95 is charged for orders under $50 (excluding tax).

Workers' Compensation Group Rating Discount Program

Save up to 77 percent on your workers’ Compensation Premiums*
For nearly a decade, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and CompManagement Inc. have offered Chamber members the opportunity to lower the premiums you must pay the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation through our Workers’ compensation group rating program.
For example, one Chamber member with an annual workers’ compensation premium of $4,125 is saving $3,379 by being enrolled for 2008!

Health Care Group Plans

Whether your company is large or small, you’re eligible to apply for health benefits typically reserved for large corporations.
As a Chamber member, your company can save up to four percent on Anthem group health insurance through a combined premium discount and premium tax credit savings.*
For more than 17 years, the Central Ohio Chamber of Commerce (COCC) has offered a health insurance program to its members. Now, as a qualified alliance, the COCC can expand these health care discounts to businesses with two to 499 employees.
To apply for the Chamber’s plan, applicants must:
• Be a Dublin Chamber of Commerce member.
• Have employees complete a health questionnaire provided by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. (Though the underwriting department does not guarantee approval, most companies qualify for coverage).

Conference Room Rental
The Chamber has two conference rooms available to members holding off-site seminars, staff meetings and presentations. The Chamber’s large conference room can accommodate 25 to 30 people with classroom-style seating, or nearly 60 people for a gathering that does not require seating. A smaller room accommodates 15 to 20 people comfortably. Complete the Facility Request Form and send it to the Chamber by fax or by mail to submit your request. All requested dates must be confirmed by the Chamber before reservations are accepted.
Direct Mail Program
Members may purchase one-time use mailing labels of Chamber member businesses to strengthen marketing efforts. Labels are updated daily and require two to three days notice prior to pickup. This benefit is available to members only.

DublinWorks!
This student job fair is designed to match Dublin businesses with students looking for summer employment. Presented by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Dublin City Schools every March, the fair targets students interested in working, volunteering or completing a summer internship. Chamber members may reserve a booth by calling 614-889-2001.
Business Consulting Services

Membership Directory & Buyers Guide
This high-quality publication is a vital community resource that reaches more than 5,000 companies and individuals each year including new residents, business representatives, real estate agents, area schools and Chamber members. Brochure Display and Distribution
The Chamber invites its membership to display brochures in the Chamber’s lobby at no cost. The display provides a great marketing opportunity by offering exposure to the general public and fellow Chamber members. The display rack is designed to hold tri-fold brochures. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please mail or deliver brochures to the Chamber office.

The Chamber’s Web site is an essential community resource for information featuring our online membership directory, calendar of events and information about the city, schools, hotels, meeting facilities and area attractions. Advertising is available. Free business listings and Web site links are available to Chamber members.
New Resident and Employee Packets
Upon request, the Chamber provides new Dublin residents and employees of member businesses with a packet of information featuring Dublin businesses, community events and Dublin City Schools. Advertising opportunities are available.
Ribbon-cutting & Groundbreaking Participate
Upon request, the Chamber can send a representative to attend a grand opening or expansion event.
Membership Plaque
Members receive free membership plaques to display in their businesses for as long as they are active Chamber members. By prominently displaying their plaques, businesses promote their community support, involvement and good will.

Expanding Your Network
Business After Hours
These gatherings offer excellent opportunities to get reacquainted with old friends and meet fellow members of the Dublin business community. Business After Hours events are usually held the third Tuesday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with complimentary appetizers. Meeting locations are published in the Dublin ChamberNews. Reservations may be made online at www.dublinchamber.org.
Lunch & Learn Series
The Dublin Chamber hosts a monthly Lunch & Learn Series to offer professional guidance on a variety of topics of interest to small businesses. Seminar subjects may include technology, buying and selling a business, sales, marketing, business communications, financial planning and small business loans.
Ambassador Club
The Ambassador Club is a training ground for members wishing to take a leadership role in the business community. Club members learn the internal workings of the Chamber, work to increase membership, and strengthen awareness of Chamber member benefits. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. at the Dublin Chamber.
NetworkDublin!
Start your morning with your business in mind. Join this Chamber-sponsored small group networking event that usually meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. Each session will offer you something different such as guest speakers, speed networking and a light breakfast.
Small Office Home Office (SOHO) Program
This group acts as a forum for small business and home-based business owners to share ideas and gain insight from other similar-sized companies. SOHO is designed to provide the opportunity to meet other professionals who face the daily challenges, risk and rewards of running a small or home office.
NextGen Dublin Young Professionals Organization
The Dublin Chamber offers a group for young professionals in their 20s and 30s who live and work in the central Ohio area. The group meets to develop, connect and empower young professionals through opportunities to enhance members’ professional development, community involvement and business success in the region.

Chamber Business Expo
Each year, the Dublin Chamber partners with neighboring chambers to host one of central Ohio’s best business expos. Booth space is available to Chamber members on a first come, first serve basis.
Member-to-Member Discount Program
This program offers member businesses and their employees discounts on products and services from fellow members. Chamber members may take advantage of this service by offering a discount and/or by taking advantage of these offers. To view a complete listing of the more than 150 discounts, click here.
Annual Golf Classic & Summer Golf League
Each July, the Chamber hosts a golf outing to provide businesses the opportunity to invite staff to a day on the golf course. Event activities include hole-sponsorships, door prizes, putting, and hole-in-one contests. Sponsorship packages are available. In addition, the Chamber sponsors a summer golf league.
Taste of Dublin
Each May the Chamber sponsors Taste of Dublin, a premier social gathering for the community and businesses. Dozens of local area restaurants offer samples of their best dishes to promote their business and network with potential new customers. It’s a perfect way to mix business with pleasure.
Staff Appreciation Luncheon
Business owners and managers have the opportunity to recognize their employees on Administrative Professional’s Day when the Dublin Chamber hosts its annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon every April at Wedgewood Golf & County Club. Guests are treated to a gourmet lunch and gifts. The luncheon is a great way for employers to thank their staff members for their hard work throughout the year.
Awards & Recognition

Business Person of the Year
The Dublin Chamber presents an award annually in March to a business person who has contributed to the betterment of the Dublin community. Chamber officers and board members review the nominations and select a recipient who demonstrates superior leadership and community service.
Community Champion Awards
The Dublin Chamber Civic Foundation and Dublin City Schools are proud to sponsor this annual community event in April that honors students in grades 4-12 and staff of the Dublin City Schools who exemplify the best of volunteerism, character, leadership and a sense of caring and responsibility for others. Members of the community may submit nominations at www.dublinchamber.org/cca.
Recognition Luncheon Featuring the Spotlight Dublin Award
The Chamber recognizes an area business or individual who brings positive national attention to Dublin with the Spotlight Dublin Award. The award is presented in December at the Chamber's annual Recognition Luncheon. Past award recipients include Dave Thomas, Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Rahal and Jack Hanna.
