The Dublin, Worthington and Union County Chambers of Commerce and the Columbus Young Professionals Club are bringing young professionals from all over central Ohio together for one night of networking. The evening will feature a social media expert who will give tips and advice on personal branding when using social media sites.
NextGen Dublin, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce’s young professionals group, is hosting this networking event with other young professionals organizations on Aug. 19 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Dave & Busters, 3665 Park Mill Run Dr. in Hilliard.
Shane Haggerty, from Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, will discuss what personal branding is, how social media impacts it and why it is important for you to get control over yours so you can leverage it for professional success.
“Social media sites can have a strong impact on your professional career,” states Margery Amorose, Executive Director of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. “At this event, you will walk away with some great ways to use social media sites to your advantage in the business world.”
